Cookie Information
Cookie notices are usually long because there is a lot to declare. Ours is short because there is very little. This page sets out exactly what Bronzantiq stores on your device and how you can remove it.
What we do not use
Bronzantiq sets no cookies for analytics, advertising, retargeting, social sharing or personalization. We do not embed videos, maps, feeds or widgets from other companies, so no third party can place cookies through our pages either.
The one thing we store
When you click one of the buttons on the cookie banner, the site saves your answer in your browser's localStorage. Technically this is not a cookie, but it works in a similar way, so it belongs on this page.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your banner choice (accepted or declined) | So the banner does not reappear on every page you open | Until you clear your browser's site data |
The entry never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it contains no name, email address or identifier.
Accepting or declining
Because we do not run optional trackers, the site behaves the same whichever button you press. Pressing decline just stores the word no. Either way, the banner stays out of your way afterwards.
Changing your mind
To reset your answer, clear the stored data for this site in your browser:
- Open your browser's settings and look for privacy, site data or website storage.
- Find the entry for this site.
- Delete its stored data.
The next time you visit, the banner will ask again. Private or incognito windows forget the entry automatically when you close them.
Why ask, when nothing is tracked?
You might wonder why a site with nothing to track asks anything. Many readers expect to be told what a site keeps, and some browsers and privacy laws favor asking first. A short, honest banner is the simplest way to make our position visible on the first page you open, instead of hiding it on this one.
Server logs
Separately from your browser, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs to deliver pages and protect the site. These are not cookies and are described in our privacy policy.
